Tyreek Hill Opens Up About Possibly Signing A New Contract

The Miami Dolphins have transformed from a franchise that was always mired in mediocrity to a legitimate postseason club since they acquired superstar wide out Tyreek Hill more than two years ago.

When Hill first got to Miami, he signed a four-year, $120 million agreement. Although it seemed like a good bargain at the time, wide receivers have become much more valuable.

He is seeking a new deal because his current one does not guarantee him money beyond this season and will underpay him in comparison to other wide receivers.

According to NFL on ESPN, Hill stated he’s excited to see where he would “fit in to that category” even while he acknowledged he’s delighted for other elite wideouts like Justin Jefferson to earn their big bags.

Hill was already a fantastic player, but since joining the Dolphins, his output has only grown. He was a major contributor to the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2019 Super Bowl victory.

He led the NFL in 2023 with 1,799 receiving yards, tied for first place with 13 receiving touchdowns, and spent a significant portion of the season nearly matching Calvin Johnson’s single-season receiving yard record.

He might have surpassed Johnson’s record and even reached the 2,000-yard plateau if it weren’t for a late-season injury to his ankle.

The Dolphins’ task is to win a playoff game for the first time since the 2000 campaign.

With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, running backs Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane, and star wideout Hill, they have the offensive talent to pull it done.
