With a new managing position and an unexpected hire, former Celtics manager Ronny Deila

Celtic supporters hold a great deal of admiration for Ronny Deila, who managed the team for two years, from 2014 to 2016.

The 48-year-old was a dedicated leader who set a strong platform for Brendan Rodgers to build upon during his first term.

He won two Scottish Premiership titles and a Scottish League Cup during his time in command.

The Norwegian coach, who most famously won the MLS Cup in 2021, has since left Celtic and worked at Valerenga, New York City, Standard Liege, and Cercle Brugge.

Now that he has made the decision to embark on a new endeavor, he may surprise everyone by inviting someone to join him.

Al Wahda hires Ronny Deila as manager Al Wahda, a team in the UAE Pro League, revealed earlier today on X that Deila will be their new head coach starting in the upcoming season.

The team announced in a statement that Ronny Deila has been named head coach.

Al Wahda FC has appointed 48-year-old Norwegian head coach Ronny Deila to lead the first football squad beginning in the 2024–2025 season. “The new coach was welcomed to the house of champions by the club’s Board of Directors.

In their statement, they wished Ronny and the squad luck in the next big tournaments and emphasized his stellar resume and early coaching career start.

The coach, for his part, conveyed his heartfelt thanks and admiration to the club’s management and leadership, complimented them on their professionalism in finishing the contract procedures, and expressed his joy and satisfaction at signing with Al Wahda FC in Abu Dhabi.

Possible unexpected appointment: Ronny Deila According to The Scottish Sun, as he looks to return to coaching, Kenny Miller is expected to be his assistant manager at Al Wahda.

The Scotland international is apparently leaving for the Middle East as the Emerati team attempts to win their first league title since 2010, which would be an unexpected turn of events.

Deila has a track record of winning championships with Stromsgodset, Celtic, and New York City, therefore he is qualified to reach goals set for Al Nahyan Stadium.

In addition to playing a lovely kind of football, he has a fondness for giving young players an opportunity to make a name for themselves in the starting lineup; this is evident at Parkhead.

Wishing Deila success in his new position! When he starts working, hopefully, Al Wahda supporters will be able to see the renowned “Ronny Roar” in action.
