Rangers have officially announced the capture of Hamza Igamane.
The 21-year-old Moroccan striker will sign a long-term contract with the Ibrox team, pending international clearance. Igamane is Rangers’ eighth summer transfer addition under manager Philippe Clement.
He is known as a promising young talent. After going through their youth academy and making his first team debut in recent years, the forward has played his whole professional career with AS FAR in his native country.
Igamane has demonstrated his promise on a larger platform by representing Morocco at the under-23 international level in addition to his club accomplishments.
The Moroccan beauty declared, “I am incredibly happy to join Rangers and I can’t wait to start working with my teammates.” “It is a massive club with a strong following and a long history.
I am eager to join this club and am thrilled about my future here. Igamane has committed to the Glasgow giants, joining the likes of Mohamed Diomande, Jefte, Oscar Cortes, Clinton Nsiala, Connor Barron, and Liam Kelly.
Rangers will be hoping that Igamane can add quality and depth to their forward line as they look to mount a formidable challenge in the upcoming season, including regaining the Scottish Premiership title.
“I am delighted to welcome Hamza to Rangers and we believe he will be a great asset to our squad,” Clement said in reference to his most recent recruit.
He will provide a new dimension to our attacking options because of his immense talent and potential. “As a club, we will support Hamza on and off the field to settle in here. We know it will be a big change in culture and a new country for him to adapt to.”
“I would like to welcome Hamza to Scotland and to Rangers and I am thrilled he will be joining our squad,” said Nils Koppen, Director of Football Recruitment.
“He is a promising young athlete who has already demonstrated his drive, aptitude, and willpower while competing internationally and in Morocco. I’m excited to watch him grow more in our club.
