As July has arrived, Celtic will at last resume their preseason activities in order to be ready for the 2024–2025 season.
The Hoops have not yet entered the market to increase their alternatives throughout the park since the summer transfer season officially opened for business in June.
They may try to bolster their striker position after Adam Idah, an Ireland international, returned to Norwich City at the conclusion of his loan.
Kyogo Furuhashi was reportedly permitted to depart for an offer of £25 million last month, according to Football Insider, although it’s unclear if any teams are willing to spend that much for him.

A younger center-forward may be preferred by Rodgers to replace Kyogo as the team’s long-term number nine option, as Kyogo will turn thirty the following season.
Whom Celtic may swap out for Hitman Mathias Kvistgaarden of Brondby is apparently of interest to Kyogo Furuhashi of The Hoops. Kvistgaarden is estimated to be worth £8.5 million, and he may be the ideal successor to the present Celtic striker.
He is not a conventional, imposing number nine like Kyogo. At five feet eight inches, the Danish whiz is an inch taller than the Japanese ace and can offer the Bhoys a forward option that is lively and nimble instead of a target man.
The 22-year-old striker is also coming off a strong season in the Superliga, as you can see in the table above, with 13 direct goal contributions in 18 starts.
Talent scout Jacek Kulig once called Kvistgaarden one of several “exciting” young talents.
At the end of the previous season, Kvistgaarden finished with nine starts in the Superliga Championship Round, where he scored six goals and contributed four assists.
As a result, the Celtic target has outperformed Kyogo in terms of conversion rate and has scored 14 goals and provided nine assists in his previous 27 league starts.
Kvistgaarden, who is 22 years old, is also seven years younger than the Japan international and still has a lot of time to grow and develop, which might make him an excellent long-term addition to the team.
Rodgers should make a move for the £8.5 million gem this summer because of his age, playstyle, menace in front of goal, and clinical finishing; all things considered, he looks to be a perfect successor to the current Hoops striker.
