According to Fabrizio Romano, Wolves are getting close to signing two players for a total of £34 million.

Wolverhampton Wanderers has spent the last few weeks completing a number of transfers. Pedro Lima, a Brazil youth international and full-back for Sport Recife, was acquired by Wolves earlier this month after Chelsea was outbid.

Additionally, it’s said that the Molineux team and Celta Vigo forward Jorgen Strand Larsen had reached an agreement recently.

Fans of the Wolves should rejoice over the update that Fabrizio Romano has now supplied on both transactions.

Pedro Lima and Jorgen Strand Larsen are scheduled for Wolves medicals. Romano says Wolves supporters shouldn’t have to wait too long to hear about the announcement of both signings.

Starting early next week, Larsen and Lima will both be subjected to medical examinations at the club, according to the transfer insider who spoke with X.

Romano said that Wolves will be paying a total of €40 million (about £34 million) including add-ons and that they are prepared to announce both signings the following week.

What can Wolves fans expect from Larsen and Lima?

Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig has compared Larsen to Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic on X, deeming him an “extremely interesting” forward.

Last season, Larsen registered 13 goals and three assists in 37 La Liga appearances for Celta Vigo. He has also won 14 caps for Norway, scoring three times.

Despite just being 17 years old, Lima has already made 26 appearances for Recife. Additionally, he has two goals and two assists to his credit.

The legendary Cafu of Brazil has been linked to Lima’s style of play, and GiveMeSport even made the bold prediction that Lima “could be one of the fastest players in the Premier League next season.” Both players should thrill Wolves supporters, as Gary O’Neil has added depth to his roster in front of the 2024–2025 season. They’re probably just getting started.
