Rangers confirm early Premiership fixtures ‘likely to be impacted’ over Ibrox stand work delays after calendar revealed

Rangers have reaffirmed that their early home fixtures at Ibrox are “likely to be impacted” as stand construction continues. Due to delays in the construction of the Ibrox Copland Stand, the team has been forced to seek an alternative site for their first few home encounters, which were intended to be played in front of a capacity audience. Temporary accommodations were sought, and Murrayfield talked about using the Edinburgh stadium for the games, which will begin with the scheduled Motherwell and Ross County fixtures, as confirmed by this morning’s SPFL schedule. The Gers have now reminded their followers that early fixtures are expected to be affected by the delays, and they have thanked fans for their patience while they await the latest information.

Miller told Clyde Superscoreboard, “They won’t come from a right-back.” I believe the strikers will be pleased that they will be able to resume taking penalties and increase their tally. What this means is that wingers, particularly Todd Cantwell and Tom Lawrence, as well as 10s and attacking 8s, should contribute more. “That’s a lot of goals to lose. If Tavernier does depart Rangers, it will not be for a lack of goals, but for big ones. Just look at this season: Old Firm goals, Cup final winning goals; he’s been a go-to guy in that Rangers team, so his departure will leave a major vacuum.”

In response to the release of the fixture schedules, a social media statement stated: “Supporters will be aware of the delayed renovations in the Copland stand, which are expected to influence home fixtures in the early part of the new season. The club will offer an update on any modifications to the home matches as soon as feasible. Rangers appreciate our supporters’ patience.” We discussed how they feared that up to five home games could be impacted owing to shipment concerns, forcing them to devise contingency measures ahead of the new season. The Light Blues had committed millions in the redevelopment to upgrade the stadium’s disabled facilities and expected the overhaul to be finished in time for the new season.
