Rangers are expected to complete their transfer priority after reaching an agreement to sign £2 million for Hamza Igamane.

Football Scotland reports that Rangers are getting closer to bringing in AS Far Rabat’s Hamza Igamane for the summer.

The outlet stated on June 26 that the Gers had placed a striker at the top of their transfer wishlist for the upcoming window.

With that being said they are now “poised” to sign the Moroccan on a long-term deal at Ibrox, moving from AS Far Rabat.

A fee in the region of £2m has been agreed ahead of a summer move for the 21-year-old forward.

Rangers set to sign Hamza Igamane This is a signing that the majority of the Light Blues fans are unlikely to have heard of given his age and footballing experience.

It will come as a worry that he has never played in Europe but at 21 he could be able to progress swiftly under Philippe Clement next season.

There is a chance that he goes to compete at the Paris Olympics with Morocco so he may be late joining his Rangers teammates for pre-season.

Considering the choices the Belgian already has, signing a striker will turn out to be a smart business move.

Danilo will return from injury next season and will want regular minutes, as will last season’s top scorer Cyriel Dessers.

There has been speculation about the Nigerian departing Ibrox this summer so that may pave the way for Igamane to come in. An interesting move which might prove to be a helpful and savvy piece of business by the Gers this summer.
