Elliot Anderson is apparently unhappy about Newcastle United’s alleged player-plus-cash approach for Max Kilman.
Although Wolves haven’t lost any players this summer, there has been more conjecture lately around captain Kilman’s future.
Currently, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United are among the teams interested in the 27-year-old. It was claimed on Saturday night that Newcastle United is currently trying to sign Kilman.
Kilman and Newcastle’s midfield player Elliot Anderson are reportedly the targets of a proposal that Newcastle has put up. this following the rejection of a £25 million deal by West Ham.
An update has been provided regarding Anderson, the player who is part of the agreement. Elliot Anderson is adamant about staying at Newcastle, while the Magpies are making an offer for Wolves captain Max Kilman.
Despite rumors that Anderson was included in a bid for Kilman, Anderson does not want to leave Newcastle, according to a report from the local publication Chronicle Live.
“Sources close to the star have denied any exit for the highly-rated Academy product,” it says.
The £30,000-per-week player Anderson, who Eddie Howe called “reliable” during the previous season, inked a new deal with his boyhood club in 2022 and is reportedly dedicated.
It is said that he intends to continue after an injury disrupted his 2023–2024 season.
Newcastle’s PSR situation is currently a little tenuous, and it’s believed they will need to let go of certain players in order to balance the books.
Kilman looks more likely to go than stay
Kilman has now been offered by Newcastle, and it is beginning to seem as though the skipper may be leaving this summer.
