The agent of Fabio Silva now lists two teams as possible destinations for the Wolves striker.

Fabio Silva’s agent has been discussing the striker’s choices for a club and has revealed two of them. After a terrible stint following his £35 million arrival back in the summer of 2020, Silva is poised to depart Molineux this summer.

Silva has so far had three loan stints: at Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, and most recently Rangers.

He has been unable to establish himself in the Wolves starting lineup. While playing for PSV and Anderlecht, the young Portuguese player did okay, but he hasn’t impressed in the old gold shirt.

After he recently came clean about wanting to leave the team this summer, his agency has now disclosed the identities of the two teams that are vying for his services.

Wolves attacker Fabio Silva has alternatives at Bologna and Fiorentina.

Silva will be remembered as one of the worst acquisitions made by Wolves in the recent past. He had barely made an appearance for the first team at FC Porto, yet the club paid an incredible £35 million to sign him.

When he got at Wolves, it was obvious that he was not at all prepared for the transfer. His decision to end up at the club was not his responsibility, and the money he made is on the board.

Silva recently acknowledged that he never really intended to become a member of the team. And it’s obvious to him that he wants to move on at this point.

Speaking about the striker and his potential future, Silva’s agency has been in communication.

A few clubs are currently showing interest in him. “Fabio is one of their options,” he said to TMW.

Fabio is respected by Marco Di Vaio, the sporting director of Bologna, and Giovanni Sartori, who I regard as a master.

He’s also well-liked by Fiorentina’s new coach, Raffaele Palladino.

It will be necessary to wait and observe how the market changes, as certain clubs must sell before adding new members.

Bologna will undoubtedly compete in the Champions League the next season following their outstanding 2023–24 campaign, in which they finished sixth.

Even if it means incurring a significant loss on the player, Wolves must sell Silva this summer. It would be better for everyone to go on and forget about this transfer because it hasn’t worked at all.

Silva might succeed in a different league in the future. Over the past few years, he has demonstrated some of his abilities.

However, Silva, a young player earning £80,000 a week, has never seemed to be suited for the demands of the English game. Although he had opportunities, he chose not to seize them.

The fact that Silva appears to be of interest to other clubs should hopefully help the club secure a respectable enough price for him.

But considering his difficulties, it might be difficult to obtain more than £10 million.
