The Dallas Cowboys have already been the focus of a contentious offseason, with a former player criticizing Micah Parson’s statements at the required minicamp. Micah Parsons, a superstar talent, was missing for much of the offseason due to his travel commitments with the NFL.
He traveled to Japan with Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud to hold training camps for young teens. The three-time All-Pro chose not to attend OTAs to focus on his own conditioning.

Marcus Spears of NFL on ESPN frowned on Parsons’ statements during the offseason program. “For me, this is what defines Dallas. Mike Zimmer has taken over as head coach for the Washington Commanders, succeeding Dan Quinn, who was in his second stint. Inside reports claim the Cowboys’ DC is an authoritative figure and has gotten criticism from his current player. The former Minnesota Vikings head coach apparently runs a tight ship and has faced criticism from his current player, Eric Kendricks.
