Wolves extends a contract offer; remain steadfast in their “fight” for the transfer.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a €15m offer for winger Rodrigo Gomes see as they look to beat Atletico Madrid to his signature.

Wolves have reportedly resumed their “fight” for the Braga winger, who has been making an impression at Estoril this season, according to Record.

Their information, which came from a source associated with the operation, is that the Premier League team is still interested in signing the under-21 international and has made Braga an offer of €15 million for him.

This is in line with the offer that Atletico Madrid made for him earlier this week, which sparked the player’s market struggle.

The Wolves management has been keeping an eye on Gomes this season and has indicated that they would like to sign him in January.

To try and figure out the possible limits of the procedure and how much he would cost, they even went so far as to express their interest to Braga.

He was reportedly very close to joining Diego Simeone’s team in Portugal, but a contract was not completed. Since then, Atletico has advanced.

However, Wolves are now making an attempt to cloud the situation and prevent him from going to the Wanda Metropolitano in an attempt to prevent that from happening. It remains to be seen if their effort has been sufficient.

According to the record, the player and Braga might really win out in a tug-of-war where both end up winning more as the two clubs compete for him.
