The Premier League has verified that the list of all 20 clubs has been released, meaning Wolves may have to say goodbye to five players this summer.
Premier League teams had until the end of the summer to inform the league of their plans regarding players who were not under contract.
Three players may depart on a free transfer, while two players have already been released.
The Midlands club is losing Dominic Plank and Muhammad Diomande.
These two, who were confirmed departures, were players for the under-18 squad this season.
Plank, an 18-year-old midfielder, came from Dorking, a non-league team in July 2022. In the Under-18s Premier League this season, he made three appearances.
At the same time as Plank, 18-year-old Italian center-back Diomande joined the under-18 squad. He played for Black Country rivals West Brom in April and made eight appearances in the Under-18 Premier League.
The Premier League’s official list also includes Bendeguz Bolla, Louie Moulden, and Joe Young as free agents.
The Premier League states that players whose contracts are marked as free transfers will end on June 30, 2024; however, the list should not be interpreted as final for players quitting their current club.
The club’s position might also have evolved since they gave the list to the regulatory body.
Hungarian right-back Bolla played the 2023–2024 season on loan with Servette, a team in the Swiss Super League. He moved from Fehervar to Wolves in 2021, but he hasn’t played for the main team yet.
Bolla did, however, play 45 games for Servette this season, participating in the Conference League and the Europa League and making it to the round of sixteen in UEFA’s third-tier competition.
After playing for Rochdale, goalkeeper Louie Moulden spent the second part of the season on loan at Northampton Town in League One.
In 12 games, he recorded two clean sheets, helping the Cobblers to a 14th-place result. Bolton Wanderers reportedly shown interest in signing Moulden in May.
Moulden was an 11-time substitute for Wolves that was not used. Joe Young, the goalie for Wolves’ under-21 squad, was away from the team for a portion of this season.
He was sent to play for Wolves in the EFL Trophy this season, where he recorded 17 clean sheets in 17 games against National League North side Buxton.
