Arsenal will make a surprise player-plus-cash bid to Napoli for their adored ace and useful star.

According to sources, Arsenal is prepared to make a player-plus-cash offer for Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen, comprising of two stars, including Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Osimhen signed a new deal with Napoli in December that is valid until June 2026 and has a €120 million (£102 million) release clause.

Instead of Napoli seeking to keep the center-forward in Italy for a few more seasons, this new deal was primarily made to preserve his extremely high transfer value.

Osimhen wants to play for one of the most prestigious teams in the world, and Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, is aware that other teams of that caliber are vying for his services. Despite reports that Chelsea’s pursuit of the 25-year-old is over, sources have told TEAMtalk that there is still a chance he will end up at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea’s executives must overcome a few obstacles, though, one of which is having to sell many players to raise money for an Osimhen bid. The Blues can steer clear of Financial Fair Play problems by doing this.

Arsenal has gained an advantage because to Chelsea’s difficulties in the competition for Osimhen. Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio claimed on Saturday that Osimhen or Benjamin Sesko, a standout for RB Leipzig, will be joining Arsenal.

The most recent sources from Italy state that Arsenal will struggle to pay Osimhen’s £102 million exit clause altogether and will make two player offers to Napoli in an attempt to lower that amount.

The first, who was originally made public over the weekend, is Emile Smith Rowe, an academy graduate.

Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal supporters adore Smith Rowe because he is a highly skilled academy graduate.

Victor Osimhen exchange trade is official for Arsenal But in recent seasons, the aggressive midfielder has lost ground and is now searching for a new team to play with more frequently.

Smith Rowe will need to be persuaded to move to Italy before Napoli can bring him back to his great best.

This unexpected player-plus-cash deal may also include defender Tomiyasu. Although Arteta can utilize the Japan international wherever around the back line, the Arsenal manager is allegedly willing to give him up in order to get Osimhen to North London.

Given their combined valuations of £70 million, Smith Rowe and Tomiyasu should be able to reduce Osimhen’s price to £32 million, which is well within Arsenal’s means.

A transfer for Osimhen would make a lot of sense, even though Arsenal has managed to come close to winning the Premier League title with either Kai Havertz or Gabriel Jesus up front—two players who are not particularly good goal scorers.

Arteta would effectively have his own Erling Haaland if Osimhen joined Arsenal, as he could ensure at least 20–25 goals every season.

This would not only increase the pressure on Manchester City to win the championship, but it would also help Arsenal advance farther in the Champions championship. Gunners are asked to sign a statement.

Shaka Hislop, a former goalkeeper for West Ham United, recently discussed why Osimhen would be a fantastic addition to Arsenal’s team.

He fulfills every requirement Arsenal has. In terms of height and set pieces, he offers the same physicality as Kai Havertz, if not slightly more,” the commentator remarked.

“He offers the finishing touch that Gabriel Jesus had promised but had not yet provided in the previous few episodes.

If I were Mikel Arteta, Osimhen would be my top priority. After that, we would look to see who else in the squad we might strengthen or sell.

But Osimhen, in my opinion, fulfills every requirement Arsenal has for a finisher, so that is unquestionably the primary priority.
