Why I believe Pedro Neto is still the best back up plan for bukayo Saka

Arsenal needs to get a right-winger this summer, as most Gooners will concur. As the primary talisman for Arsenal, Bukayo Saka has played far too many games.

Ideally, we should give him a break for the biggest and most important games of the season. Still, who would be the best right-winger to appoint as his deputy?

I’m personally persuading myself that Pedro Neto ought to be signed by Arsenal. Gooners are familiar with Neto’s name because we have been associated with his swoop for some time. Why then is he? 1. Compared to most of our bench players, Neto plays more. Last season, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, and Emile Smith-Rowe collectively played 1672 minutes.

It should be noted that even though some people think Neto misses a lot of games because of injuries, it’s still noteworthy that he played more minutes than the three Arsenal players mentioned.

In the twenty league games he participated in, he recorded an amazing nine assists and two goals despite missing many games.

2. To prevent injuries, Arsenal could better control his playing time.

Because the Wolves value his dependability above everything else, they deploy him as soon as they think he’s ready, which is bad for his recovery from injuries. In fact, the opposition frequently profiles and targets him in particular because he is the standout player for Wolves.

But with Arsenal, we’ll definitely control his workload, and with other elite players around, teams won’t be as inclined to target him, which lowers his danger of injury. I think we’ll reserve his use for emergencies, keeping him safe from harm for the most part.

3. Arsenal’s assault needs his pace exactly. The Arsenal offense lacks pace when Martinelli isn’t playing as well as he did in a few games from the previous campaign. However, this might not be the case with Neto.

The Portuguese is regarded as a left-footed speedster who, along from his cunning, has the ability to elevate Arsenal’s offense.

4. He is among the greatest options available for the right flank. It’s tough to sign a right-winger this summer. The competition is fierce to get one.

Arsenal is apparently investigating right-wingers Michael Olise of Crystal Palace and Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao, but there is fierce rivalry to sign either player.

Pedro Neto may be acquired by Arsenal in a quiet transaction that faces little opposition. Given his technical skill and age of 24, he is a good fit for Arsenal’s objectives.

Pedro Neto may be a great asset to Arsenal. I hope those in charge at Arsenal understand that.
