Wolves and Chelsea get in touch to sign the same player; the club “expects high amount of money.”

Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers have Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen on their radar, according to journalist Nacho Sanchis.

claimed that Wolves and Chelsea had “sounded him out” on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter.

This season, the goalkeeper gave up 64 goals while maintaining six clean sheets. Nevertheless, his performances have helped him “stand out in a positive way” and dispel any lingering reservations from the beginning of the campaign.

Prior to securing his spot this season, Jorgensen advanced through the Yellow Submarine’s academy and gained admission to the first squad in January 2023.

The 22-year-old’s performances have reportedly caught the attention of Chelsea and Wolves, who are reportedly conducting surveys to determine the prerequisites for signing him.

His contract has a €40 million release clause and expires in 2027.

Sanchis stated that the La Liga team “would expect a high amount of money,” implying that they are willing to let him go for a sum less than his contract but not providing specific dollar amounts.

Villarreal has been searching the market for a goalkeeper in anticipation of losing the Dane.
