supremely placed in the globe Calllum McGregor, the Celtics captain, glaring down at the Rangers

After winning THE double, the league title, and the Scottish Cup, Celtic defeated the Rangers 1-0 at Hampden Park to cap off a successful season for Brendan Rodgers, Callum McGregor, and the rest of the team.

After the triumph in the Hampden showpiece, Captain Callum McGregor was overjoyed. The goal came from substitute Adam Idah in the 90th minute.

Idah will undoubtedly be a top summer signing to replace Joe Hart, who retired yesterday with three fantastic years of playing for our football team, a clean sheet, and another winners medal.

The Celtic captain, who spoke to Celtic TV about his feelings after the match, was naturally happy to have won another Hampden final. You know, he’s never lost one.

“At the pinnacle of everything. Fantastic match, cup final, two teams competing. Probably a little nervous, not very good in the game, but listen, in the cup finals, you only have one chance, and that one came to us, and the big man [Adam Idah] finished calmly and well,” Calmac remarked. “And then you have to spend an additional eight or nine minutes doing all the other parts.

I felt we did a great job of sticking together, running, pressing, staying in the game, and doing all the nasty little things that bring you over the finish line in cup finals. I’m really happy for the boys.

It took Celtic until the ninetieth minute to find the net, but Adam Idah scored with ease, beating Jack Butland. When considering the entire performance, McGregor stated, “I think it was decent enough football.” I felt we were solid throughout the middle build-up.

Perhaps not quite as good as we’ve been at the top of the pitch, but listen, it happens, it’s cup final football, and you have to deal with that on the day.

As I’ve said countless times, you have to find a way to win, and that is the responsibility at Celtic, the Celtic captain continued.

These games, and especially the big ones, must be won. We are overjoyed that we were able to accomplish the goal, and to be honest, I felt that we were comfortable playing without the ball because they rarely really caused issues and the most of the game was played in the midfield zone.

The captain was given a yellow card early in the match, which led to a contentious decision by the referee.

He believes he managed it effectively, but he had to make sure Celtic had 11 players on the field.

“I thought I managed it quite well after that,” McGregor remarked. “You never know in these games, you might have to do something that prevents a goal or you’ve got to make a tackle or whatever.”

His record of never losing a cup final in his career is maintained by this triumph. “I want no one to put me under a spell,” McGregor declared. There is a limit to how much preparation you can do.

You can prepare the squad and yourself physically and emotionally, but luck also plays a role.

The more arms and legs it grows, the more confident you feel about it when you return because you have so much to look back on as well. I’m very happy to see it continue.”

Joe Hart played his last game as a professional football player in the Scottish Cup final. Now that his career has been filled with stars, he will retire.

“No better way to sign off really,” McGregor remarked in reference to the renowned goalie.

We wish him luck because he has been an excellent leader for the group and a terrific player for us.

Excellent man too. Well-respected in the industry and deserving of all of his accomplishments.

Next season, Celtic wants to add three more trophies to the collection in the Parkhead trophy room.

McGregor stated, “Once we come back to pre-season, the remit will be to try and get three more medals,” in reference to the upcoming season.

Let’s see if we can continue to get more next season because that’s where we are, what the club expects, and it’s currently ingrained in the club’s DNA.
