Skip Bayless Makes A Surprising Prediction About Cowboys
After flaming out in the first round of the NFL playoffs, falling to the upstart Green Bay Packers in historic manner at AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys entered the offseason with many worries about the storied franchise’s immediate future. Longtime Cowboys owner Jerry Jones tried to reassure fans by claiming Dallas would go “all-in” this offseason to right the ship for the 2024 season and beyond, but the team did virtually nothing this offseason, further infuriating their fan base and leaving them wondering what was going on with this team.
As usual, staunch Cowboys fan Skip Bayless of FOX Sports weighs in on everything that occurs to his favorite franchise and hasn’t held back his criticism since the team was crushed by the Packers in the first round of the playoffs. Along with being severely critical of the Cowboys this summer, Bayless took it to a new level this week, stating Dallas will not even make the playoffs next season. “The Cowboys will not make the playoffs next year,” Bayless asserted.
This is a bold statement given how skilled the Cowboys are on both sides of the ball as they now stand, with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb leading the offense and linebacker Micah Parsons leading the defense. However, Bayless is speaking more from his heart than his mind with this prediction, since it appears to be a stretch that Dallas will miss the playoffs next season, but stranger things have happened, especially with this organization.
