Rangers triumph – A legend of the team predicts victory against Celtic in the Cup Final

Steven Davis, a Rangers icon, predicts that the Gers will defeat Celtic this coming Saturday in the Scottish Cup final.

There will be a piece of silverware on the line when the two Glasgow giants square off in the season finale.

Rangers would have two trophies to Celtic’s one at the conclusion of the season if they won the Scottish Cup, but Celtic had already defeated them this season by winning the Scottish Premiership.

Davis believes that Rangers fans will still be disappointed even if that occurs. The BBC paraphrased him as saying, “From a Rangers point of view, they will be desperate to get their hands on that trophy.”

There will be disappointment in the league even if they do win it, but this provides them the chance to cap off the season with a triumph.

“I’m excited for the game; it’s huge—there hasn’t been an Old Firm final in 22 years.

The most important factors in a cup final are who can defend their own box the best, who shows up on game day, and who seizes opportunities.

The former player with the Rangers acknowledged that he believes the Giants will win the series.

“I have to aim for a narrow Rangers victory,” he continued. Since coming over, Philippe Clement has made impressive progress, and the Belgian will be eager to win the Scottish Cup before the summer is done.
