AJAX WINGER, WHO WEST HAM WANTED IN JANUARY, IS LISTED AMONG OTHER PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS’ SHORTLIST FOR THE SUMMER.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Steven Bergwijn might be available this summer for about £20 million.

The Amsterdam team may need to sell the Ajax winger in order to address certain financial concerns. Ajax is still searching for a new head coach for the 2024–2025 season after a dismal year.

This season, Bergwijn has contributed four assists and 12 goals in 23 Eredivisie games. In the Europa League, he participated in five matches and scored one goal.

In the summer of 2022, Bergwijn moved from Tottenham to Ajax for a reported €31.25 million. Bergwijn played 83 games for Tottenham, tallying nine assists and eight goals.

After playing 149 games for PSV, where he recorded 31 goals and 41 assists, he was signed by the London team.

Bergwijn has an agreement with Amsterdam that runs through 2027. Transfermarkt values him at approximately €20 million, but the club will probably demand a higher price than Romano and Premier League teams could be willing to offer.
