As Rangers’ hopes of winning the title faded at Parkhead, Philippe Clement lamented John Lundstram’s “unnecessary” red card.
A furious lunge on Celtic’s Alistair Johnston minutes before halftime, and just after the Gers had pegged one back, sent Lundstram, 30, for an early bath.
Despite acknowledging that Lundstram should have known better, particularly at such a pivotal moment in the game, Ibrox manager Clement expressed no objections over referee Willie Collum’s ruling.
