After six losses in nine Premier League games, Gary O’Neil has conceded that he needs to change Wolves’ style of play.
Wolves gave Crystal Palace numerous opportunities due to several egregious defensive mistakes, and ultimately lost 3-1. O’Neil thinks he wants to address the manner of play his current team can play because a lot of the mistakes and avoidable mistakes were caused by Wolves playing out of defense.
O’Neil stated, “There’s a ton to learn from this and the past few weeks.”
The style worked well for the team over the first two thirds of the season and helped them win games. However, in the last few weeks, I’ve discovered that we might need to make some adjustments to make do with the resources at hand.
