Never one to disguise his passion for Celtic, Trevor Sinclair was fortunate enough to witness the team’s derby victory over Rangers on Saturday.

After Matt O’Riley gave the Bhoys a 2-1 lead and John Lundstram put the ball in his own net moments later, Celtic defeated Rangers 2-1.

The team led by Rene Rodgers now leads the Scottish Premiership league by six points and has a better goal differential than the team in second place.

That puts Celtic within two games of clinching the title once more. Three generations of Sinclair’s family traveled with him today, and he provided amazing video of 60,000 fans singing You’ll Never Walk Alone right before kickoff.

Trevor Sinclair feels a genuine affinity for Celtic Park The former West Ham striker was obviously receiving an incredible response from the supporters, as Sinclair also acknowledged each and every one of them during his tour.

The excitement level for one of the biggest derbies in recent memory was appropriate for the event. Yes, there was some tension toward the end, but that was only because so many people have a deep connection to the fixture.

Due in part to the tone created by the pre-match support, the team was electrifying and in control of the game early on.
