One factor, according to an ESPN expert, may make Dallas “a problem for everybody in the NFC.”

The 2024 Dallas Cowboys season will likely be among the most important in recent memory.

This is due to the fact that Dak Prescott’s future with the team is uncertain and this may be his final game. The quarterback has a $55.455 million cap hit for this season, which is a hefty price to pay for a team that isn’t even the front-runner to win the NFC Championship.
Jerry Jones has already expressed his belief that America’s Team will surpass last year and that they are fully committed to the game.

To have more targets on the field, Prescott hasn’t been given any additional offensive weapons, though. Though CeeDee Lamb intends to have his contract extended as soon as possible, he remains with the Cowboys through 2024.

The organization is taking the best possible care of the QB’s predicament. Though it all depends on how the upcoming season plays out, it appears that there is interest in keeping him under contract.

In a radio appearance last Monday, vice president Stephen Jones made an effort to make people understand the franchise’s line of thought regarding what is going on.

“I mean, I totally think Dak can lead us to a championship. He does everything the right way. He’s certainly the leader of this football team. He keeps everybody motivated in the offseason. He’s got everybody working out and doing all the things that it takes to put in the work to give yourself every opportunity to win a championship.” said confidently.

He added a “justification” for the win drought in the postseason.

“It just so happens that sometimes that old oblong football doesn’t bounce your way. And we’ve had some tough breaks and tough games there in the post season. But, you know, we’ve won 12 games three years in a row. I think that’s right at the top in terms of what teams have done over a three-year period. And, you know, we’re hanging around the rim. We’ve just gotta go up there and grab it, to use a basketball term, and dunk it in. we’re hanging around the rum. We just gotta get the job done.”

What will Prescott have to demonstrate in 2024 on the field?

The topic of conversation on Tuesday’s NFL Live program concerned the performance standards that the Dallas quarterback must meet this season in order to secure his contract extension.

Tim Hasselbeck, an analyst, thinks Prescott is a talented player who doesn’t need much improvement.

“I don’t think they really need to see anything from Dak,” I said. Well, Dak has shown himself to be a rather talented player. Considering the contracts Dak has already signed with them, I don’t think there is any doubt in their minds that he is good enough to help them win a Super Bowl. He needs to play a little bit better, so I would agree that they have felt that way and looked that way.

“I think there’s so much attention right now, really by us and others about the future for the Dallas Cowboys,” says Hasselbeck, who is living day by day. In actuality, that president is in office this year. Micah Parsons is under contract with them for this year. This year, they signed CeeDee Lamb to a deal. Their football team features other talented players.
