Head of Wolves is planning to let go of a player they had a lot of expectations for.

They are set to cash in while he still has a year remaining on his deal.

A fresh update on the player’s future indicates that Wolves plan to sell the young talent who has just one year left on his contract.

Wolves send information Overall, Gary O’Neil’s club has had a successful season, finishing strong in the Premier League’s midtable and achieving some fantastic victories, most notably a home victory over champion Manchester City.

Several players will likely join Wolves this summer in an attempt to bolster the team’s caliber and depth.

According to reports, Wanderers have asked if Chelsea striker Armando Broja, who is presently on loan at Fulham, is available. Despite his strong desire to play, he has only managed to log 60 minutes in seven Premier League games at Craven Cottage.

The winger Justin Njinmah of Werder Bremen, who is seen as a “interesting” talent after six goals in ten Bundesliga starts this season, has also been linked to a move to Wolves.

Another player to pursue is Bright Osayi-Samuel, who plays right back for Fenerbahce and has “blistering pace”.

Additionally, Wolves will be fighting to retain onto certain players, not the least of which is important center-back Max Kilman, who Manchester United is expected to pursue. This summer, Wolves intend to sell their youthful captain.

Mason Rees is a young player that Wolves are happy to trade this summer since they no longer see a place for him at the team, according to Wayne Veysey of Football Insider.

The 18-year-old’s contract at Molineux expires in one year, but despite being “viewed by Wolves chiefs as a promising talent” at first, he doesn’t seem to have progressed as much as he should have.

A young player failing to measure up at a club is always unfortunate because homegrown talent is so valuable. This is also the case with Rees.

Football academy manager Jon Hunter-Barratt praised the player’s leadership qualities when he inked a new contract with him last year, saying:

“He’s had a really good pre-season and is a really keen worker who is happy to do the work without the ball for the team.” “Having a professional contract awarded to him and his family is a wonderful occasion. When he’s on the field, he’s the kind of guy that like to set the example. His style of playing makes that evident, as he leaves nothing out.”

But football is a cutthroat industry, so if Wolves believe that this is the best time to cash in on Rees before losing him as a free agent next summer, then they are making the proper choice.

Although he is only 18 years old, he has made 71 appearances for Wolves’ Under-21 and Under-18 teams combined, suggesting that he has a lot of skill. Hopefully, another club will be willing to sign him.
