The Rangers’ substitute Celtic does not want “unhappy” to be replaced with Todd Cantwell

Cammy Bell hasn’t seen enough from Cantwell in recent weeks to justify starting for Philippe Clement at Parkhead this weekend.

Given that Todd Cantwell has been “unhappy” at Rangers in recent weeks, Tom Lawrence ought to start this weekend in place of him.

The Light Blues play Celtic across town, and Philippe Clement leads his squad there. The Light Blues must win this match in order to have a chance to beat their opponents for the championship.

This season, Brendan Rodgers’ team is favored to win the Premiership for the third time in a row without ever winning a derby.

Cammy Bell, the former goalie at Ibrox, believes that starting Dujon Sterling and maybe starting Lawrence over Cantwell will give his old team the best chance of winning.

Against Derek McInnes’ ten men, Lawrence scored a superb third goal after coming off the bench against Kilmarnock over the weekend to secure the points.

Additionally, he hasn’t seen enough of Cantwell to warrant a first-Xi position at Parkhead on Saturday during lunch.

“It is challenging; they must deal with their injuries and not let their wounds consume them. Tom Lawrence’s return was a plus from the weekend; in my opinion, he’s a terrific player, Bell told Superscoreboard.

Once again, Todd Cantwell hasn’t done enough for me. He simply appears a little bit disgruntled right now and out of shape. Lawrence, in my opinion, adds a little bit more energy and control.

I think Sterling should start because he always puts in a strong performance and you need to make room on the field for him.

Finding a team and formation that will help Philippe Clement win the game is a major task for him.

Simon Donnelly, a former Celtic forward, acknowledged that Lawrence is the player that Celtic supporters would prefer to have on the bench. “I think the obvious thing that’s hindered Tom Lawrence most of the time he’s been at Rangers is fitness,” he continued.

However, I believe he possesses a trait that might be harmful. I don’t think many players on that Rangers team are capable of taking shots like he did on the weekend, so I assume it comes down to fitness. ”

He’d be the one I wouldn’t be looking, from a Celtic point of view, to be on the starting XI because if he gets it in the final third, he’s got the quality and is more than capable.
