Man United is ‘pushing’ for a surprise double transfer swoop from Wolves following their visit to Man City.

Two of Wolves’ young prospects are being targeted by Man Utd – one of whom visited Man City recently.Wes Okoduwa of Wolverhampton Wanderers is a player Manchester United hopes to capture this summer; in addition, a transfer for Alvin Ayman, another kid from the Old Gold academy, may be imminent.

Earlier this season, Okoduwa garnered attention when, at the age of just 15, he was benched away at Newcastle United. Since then, he has made multiple appearances in the matchday squad, and Gary O’Neil is impressed with what he’s seen thus far.

While Ayman has not yet been included in an official Premier League squad, he traveled to Manchester City with the senior squad.

A number of Premier League “big six” clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on the two, with United leading the pack, according to our sister magazine Express & Star. There have already been attempts.

The Secret Scout reported that Erik ten Hag’s team is ‘pushing’ to sign Okoduwa and that a move is close to being made.

While the Red Devils are keeping an eye on the teenage defender, he will be free to weigh his options in the summer before being able to sign a professional contract until he reaches 17.

The teenager would play for the Manchester United Under-18s in 2024–25 if an agreement were reached.

Wolves is conscious of the allure of the Premier League’s top six and will do all of its efforts to retain Okoduwa and Ayman.

In order to keep the two around for a little while longer—and critically, until they can sign their first official contracts—it is anticipated that the promise of regular first-team appearances would be sufficient.
