Breaking: Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver signs with Las Vegas Raiders

For the upcoming season, a former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys is joining the Las Vegas Raiders. On Monday, the Raiders made the signing public.

The Raiders passed on selecting a quarterback in the draft and are now focusing on developing their pass-catching skills for the 2024 campaign. To complement Michael Mayer, the Raiders selected tight end Brock Bowers with the No. 13 pick. They will join Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers, two really talented wide receivers.

The Raiders announced on Monday that they have signed Jalen Guyton as an unrestricted free agent:

After playing for the Los Angeles Chargers for the previous five seasons (2019–23), Guyton now plays for the Silver and Black. Guyton participated in eight games the previous season and recorded 10 receptions for 89 yards and one touchdown.

Guyton, an Allen, Texas native, attended Trinity Valley Community College (2016) and Notre Dame (2015) before playing two seasons at North Texas (2017–18). For North Texas, he appeared in 26 games and recorded 103 receptions for 1,580 yards and 15 touchdowns.
