Is Los Angeles Lakers All-Star combo forward LeBron James going to give up his signature Nikes sooner rather than later after suffering yet another playoff humiliation at the hands of the Denver Nuggets?
For the majority of the season, James, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, grimaced his way through a persistently hurting left ankle.
He appeared to be in an introspective, existential frame of mind after Monday’s 108-106 Game 5 loss for Los Angeles. The Lakers lost 4-1 and were eliminated from the playoffs’ first round.

James is currently considering retiring as the next phase of his life. James commented, “It’s still coming,” on his choice to put the game behind him. No. It will happen soon.” “It’s cool,” James remarked. “Since I don’t see myself sliding off anytime soon, to be honest. However, I wonder, “What am I doing?”
The six-foot-nine veteran, who is now the oldest player in the NBA, hinted that he intends to change his focus pretty soon to family time. “I’ve got a family,” James declared. Zhuri, my 9-year-old daughter, is mine. My son, Bronny, is a college student who is currently debating whether to attend college or pursue a career in sports. My son, Bryce, will soon be a senior in high school. They’ve never put any strain on me and have let me make up for all the lost family time.”
