A special award will be given to Celtic great Henrik Larsson during the club’s Player of the Year night in a few weeks at the Hydro.
The Swedish forward will get a “Outstanding Contribution Award” on May 12th for his amazing performances while wearing a green and white jersey.
Larsson scored an incredible 242 goals in 315 games for Celtic over an eight-year period. His contribution to the Bhoys’ 2002–03 UEFA Cup run is legendary, and he is a true club icon. He will appear at the Hydro on what promises to be an amazing night, together with other well-known figures including Chris Sutton, John Hartson, and Martin O’Neill. In fact, the day before is the crucial game in the title chase between the Hoops and Rangers. The next evening may be bittersweet if you taste success, but nothing is said or done.
The Celtics’ next six games will be crucial, but it’s obvious what needs to happen for the team to have a great season finale. They control their own fate and are aware of the steps necessary to obtain a highly sought-after duplicate.
