Before Joe Hart’s final six games as a professional football player, Celtics fans had the opportunity to have a sit-down with him on Sunday evening.
His final professional football match will be on May 25 versus Rangers before he takes a hiatus from the game.
Since his arrival, Hart has grown to be a beloved character at Celtic. Fans and teammates alike honoured him at a unique ceremony, which honored his accomplishments both on and off the field. The goalkeeper posted a thank-you message on Instagram after being moved by the outpouring of love. “Wow, words just can’t express what a night it was. We appreciate everyone who attended and everyone at @celticfc. Hart wrote, “I have work to do right now, but I just wanted to say thank you.”
Highlights from Hart’s career were shown throughout the evening, honoring his big saves and the times he won over supporters of the teams he has played for.
