Over the ‘total disaster’ surrounding their soggy pitch, a grumpy Ally McCoist gave Dundee a hard time.
And when the Rangers hero made a cheeky jab at the Dens Park club regarding their EMAILS, he refused to let sleeping dogs lie. On Wednesday night, following a 3.30pm pitch inspection, Dundee was forced to cancel their game for the second time, feeling the wrath of Ibrox. The game was postponed for a second time after referee Don Robertson declared it playable at 11 a.m. after doing a follow-up inspection of the field and considering the bleak weather prediction.
The game has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, but not before infuriated Rangers called them “negligent and unprofessional” for not securing the match or providing them with adequate notice of the postponement.
A beleaguered McCoist was asked about it on talkSPORT and he was in no mood to pull his punches.
