Wayne Rooney identifies a Liverpool player who isn’t given the credit he merits.

Wayne Rooney, a hero for Manchester United, believes Mohamed Salah, a star player for Liverpool, does not receive enough recognition. Under manager Jurgen Klopp, Salah has been in excellent form once more this season as he attempts to assist the Reds win a second Premier League title. Liverpool, who are vying for the crown with Manchester City and Arsenal, will take on Rooney’s former team, United, this coming weekend at Old Trafford. In addition to winning the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Club World Cup, Super Cup, Champions League, and Club World Cup with Liverpool in 2020, Salah also experienced Premier League triumph.

Rumor has it that the Egypt international, who feels his fellow Premier League great deserves more attention, could be moving to the Saudi Pro League at the conclusion of the season when Klopp departs. Rooney is a legend in his own right.

Rooney described Salah to Premier League Productions as “someone who carries the ball up the pitch, makes great runs in behind, scores goals, and creates goals.” He is there to accomplish that. He poses the most risk. They’ve encountered No. 9s. Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino. But he is the one who consistently scores goals.

He doesn’t seem to receive the recognition he merits. Consider Phil Foden in a comparable capacity. He still has eight, nine, or ten years to reach Mohamed Salah’s hitting totals. I hope he receives more recognition. In the 2017–18 season, Salah was named Premier League Player of the Season. He has won the Premier League Golden Boot three times.
