Callum McGregor Misses Celtic Training Before Traveling to Livingston

This Friday’s Celtic Way morning briefing for March 29, presented by MPH Group, featured Hamish Carton together with Ryan McGinlay and Tony Haggerty.

The business end of the season is officially underway for Celtic as they get ready for a trip to Livingston this Sunday in the Scottish Premiership.

Fans were delighted this morning by the news of increased away allocations for Glasgow derbies, but they will not be buoyed by Callum McGregor’s absence from training.

Reo Hatate, Maik Nawrocki, and Liam Scales were among the Bhoys that practiced ahead of this weekend’s game, but the captain wasn’t part of it:

Two weeks ago, manager Brendan Rodgers provided us with the most recent information about McGregor. Subsequently, he stated that he would evaluate the midfield player before to Livi and anticipated his return following the international break. It is not encouraging if he has been evaluated and is not in training, but it does not guarantee he won’t play at Ibrox.

His absence will undoubtedly be the subject of conjecture, but we can only believe information straight from the source. Later this afternoon, gaffer Rodgers will address the media.
