A doctor discusses a possible season-ending injury claim for Dujon Sterling.

According to Dr Rajpal Brar, Rangers defender Dujon Sterling might miss more than three months if he has a serious hamstring injury and is not expected to recover before the season concludes.

The 24-year-old has missed games due to an injury, and the injury expert asserts that it is definitely more than just hamstring stiffness.

34 minutes into the 2-0 victory over Hibs on March 10, he sustained an injury that has kept him out of play ever since.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

“A Grade 0 injury would be the best scenario.”

That would include only mild hamstring stiffness in the absence of an injury.

But since he has missed games, there’s a chance it’s something more serious.

“A Grade 4 complete rupture, which would be more than three months away, would be the worst case scenario.”

The likes of Oscar Cortes, Danilo and Abdallah Sima are all out of action while Ryan Jack is also fighting fitness issues.

Sterling is at the risk of missing weeks and months if it is more extreme than first feared so it remains to be seen what the club update is on the Englishman.
