James missed the game-winning spot kick in the penalty shootout, ending Wales’ hopes of competing in the European Championship in Germany.
Page said that losing on penalties hurt deeply and that it is a terrible way to miss the championship.
The Wales manager argued that the winger displayed bravery in taking the crucial penalty kick and refused to place the burden on James.
He emphasized that the teammates will assist the Leeds player in getting over his shock.
