A sight and sound to witness is the Green Wall at Celtic Park.

The news that the Green Brigade will be relocating the Green Wall to Celtic Park for the two upcoming SWPL1 matches—against Hearts at Celtic Park on Sunday, April 21, and then against Hibs at Paradise on Sunday, May 19, the last day of the league season—makes us at The Celtic Star very happy. It might be the match in which Celtic wins the Premier League for the first time ever!

For four seasons, The Celtic Star has offered the best coverage of the Celtic FC Women’s team. As always, we’ll be there to watch this season hopefully end in a pleasant double.

At the close of the previous season, for the games against Glasgow City and Hearts, which Celtic FC Women won handily, the Celtic close Green Wall was something different. The attendance records for the SWPL were broken in both games, with the record still standing at 15,822.

For background, the Rangers Women played Partick Thistle in the Sky Sports Cup Final of the Women’s League Cup on Sunday at Tynecastle in front of 4,000 spectators.

It won’t take long for people who saw the two Celtic FC Women games last season to realize what an incredible event they were, and chances are good that most of them will be returning. We hope that this time, the fans who maybe watched on TV and wished they had followed through will make the effort.

The Green Wall is a sight to behold, and the squad will excel. There are several barriers to it occurring on a men’s team matchday, including those who have their own seats and don’t want to relocate, all of which are legitimate concerns, but there is no doubting the Green Wall is something truly unique.

Elena Sadiku recently talked to The Celtic Star about her summer transfer ambitions, and she mentioned that she already has players in mind to bring to Celtic. them will undoubtedly help to get these deals over the finish line to show these players pictures of Celtic Park in action, with the team winning and amazing support behind them.
