Nevertheless, Cresswell has only made five league games because early this season Daniel Farke selected Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk, and Liam Cooper over the academy graduate.
Due to the injury problem, Ethan Ampadu and Welsh teammate Rodon have been paired in defense more recently. The two have been fantastic, leading the team to the top of the league.
