Leeds United’s transfer emphasis makes sense because they are allegedly targeting a 21-year-old sensation.

According to reports, a number of English teams are keeping an eye on Blackpool’s top player Karamoko Dembele, who is presently on loan from Stade Brest.

Leeds will not know what tier they will play in next season, therefore they will not be able to develop firm transfer approaches just yet.

Regardless of who gets promoted this season, a few positions—like that of a potential attacking midfielder—appear to be in dire need of improvement.

Attacking midfielder Karamoko Dembele, who is presently on loan at League One Blackpool, is reportedly being closely monitored by a number of English clubs, according to a report from HITC this week.

Naturally, the 21-year-old became viral at the age of 13, when he was still at Celtic, making his U20 debut. He later moved on a free transfer to Stade Brest in Ligue 1 in 2022.

The fact that the young player is currently highly regarded is demonstrated by the fact that the same study names promotion opponents Southampton and Leicester City alongside Premier League teams West Ham, Brentford, Wolves, Fulham, and Crystal Palace.

It would be interesting to see if Leeds is serious about the young player and can sign him before the summer arrives.

With seven goals and 12 assists in all competitions this season, Dembele has made short work of it in the English football third division, where he appears destined for involvement far further up the ladder.

But in terms of what Leeds might require in the summer window, it appears like they are headed in the right direction.

However, Leeds appears to be thinking strategically about what would be required for the summer window.

Our attack is creative thanks to Georginio Rutter’s 17 assists this season, but given his inability to hold onto the ball under pressure in the middle of the pitch, it’s possible that he’ll end up moving to the right wing in the long run, especially in the Premier League where pressing is far more effective.

The club now has a hole for an offensive center creator, and if Dembele fills it, it might be a wise investment.
