Glasgow is home to the Scottish football team Rangers. They established The Rangers Football Club Ltd. in 1899 after being formed in 1872. Former owner and chairman Sir David Murray turned the club from a private to a public limited company (PLC) in 2000 when he floated it on the stock market.
After The Rangers Football Club PLC went into administration in 2012, Sevco Scotland Ltd. acquired the company’s operations and holdings, which included Rangers F.C., Ibrox Stadium, and the Rangers Training Center.
