Kyogo Furuhashi has just sent brilliant message to Celtic fans on Instagram

With the international break approaching, Celtic has players who will represent their country and others who will stay behind to improve their skills.

The £60 million Champions League windfall that awaits Brendan Rodgers should he win the league might be a game-changer for Celtic, given that this season’s title is the most valuable in Scottish football history.

That would mean Celtic would have the chance to maintain their dominance of Scottish football for many years to come, and the already large financial gap between us and Rangers would widen.

But to achieve that, every one of our star players must be playing at their very best. Celtic has struggled to rediscover its rhythm due to injury concerns, but as they demonstrated on Saturday against St Johnstone, several important players are now beginning to do so.

Kyogo Furuhashi is one among them. Although the Japanese striker has had difficulty regaining the goal-scoring form that won him the SPFL Top Goalscorer award the previous season, he has been returning to form in the last few weeks.

And now that the Celtics are leading the league once again, Kyogo has posted an inspiring promise to the Celtic supporters on Instagram this morning:

Despite missing out on this occasion’s international call from Hajime Moriyasu, Kyogo’s commitment to performing well for Celtic has remained unwavering.

The striker is currently on fire, having scored two goals and provided an assist in his previous two games. In actuality, though, he could have scored more against St Johnstone if not for the offside flag and Perth’s woodwork.

We are seeing Kyogo’s best play of the season, and there’s no doubt that he will have a significant influence on the outcome of this title in May.
