From Nottingham Forest, The Thoughts Of Honest Rob (h)

Rob Edwards must be having a terrible time since there is not much time left for Luton Town to escape the relegation zone.

Maintaining our Premier League standing was always going to be difficult, but when a manager has to manage a team so thinly staffed due to injuries to important players at such a critical juncture in the season, has it ever happened?

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu’s injury yesterday was a great example of the bad luck we’ve been having. Rob had to put together a starting lineup with the roster already reduced to its bare minimum.

Even with all of the bad luck we’ve been having, Rob isn’t giving up and, following yesterday’s thrilling 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, the manager said the following in his post-match interview with the BBC

The only thing left to do is to press on and never give up.

“We’re not going to give up; we’ll keep going.” They truly are a unique group.

They are, and in spite of where we stand right now, people are still eager to make a little money off of what seems to be a lost cause. What sets us apart from other clubs is our never-say-die mentality, which is an admirable quality.

Rob went on to discuss the events of yesterday and Wednesday night, saying:

Luke Berry, who has now scored in every league, getting the equalizer is a truly important occasion for him and this football club. “We all found it difficult to come back in such a big game after losing the game midweek 3-0 up.

My fears were realized when the Hatters managed to blow a 3-0 lead and lose 4-3 at the Vitality Stadium. However, the admirable spirit I mentioned earlier is still evident, and the cheering inside Kenilworth Road when Luke Berry scored the equalizer showed how relieved everyone was to know that we still had a chance to avoid the drop and that we still control our own destiny.

But before I go, let me say a few words about Luke Berry, who has accomplished the amazing accomplishment of scoring goals for Luton Town in every division we play in. I want to know if Luke is the only one who has accomplished this or if someone else at another club has also accomplished it.
