Broncos and S Brandon Jones agree to a three-year contract.

Brandon Jones, a former safety for the Miami Dolphins, signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos on Thursday.

Terms were not made public, but prior reports estimated the worth to be $20 million, guaranteed at $12.5 million, and potentially as high as $22.5 million with incentives.

Jones participated in 16 games (six starts) for Miami in 2023, recording 48 tackles, two interceptions, and four passes defensed.

Jones, who turns 26 next month, was selected by Miami in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 54 games (30 starts), he recorded 238 tackles, eight sacks, four forced fumbles, and three interceptions. I would genuinely swap these past four years for anything.

I will always be appreciative to the Dolphins organization for believing in a young man from Nacogdoches, Texas, who merely wanted to fulfill his childhood ambition of being an NFL player. Denver… LFG,” Jones announced on X on Monday, indicating the change.
