On June 14, they formally rejected the proposed CVA, which meant Rangers would have to be reorganized under a new corporate structure and go through liquidation.
Rangers’ assets and operations were sold to Sevco Scotland Ltd., and BDO, an accounting firm, was supposed to be named as the liquidator.
