According to Sam Byram, visiting teams at Elland Road are afraid of Leeds United, and he emphasized that he saw a statistic that supports this.
Leeds has gone undefeated at home under Daniel Farke’s leadership, transforming Elland Road into a fortress.
Leeds has 76 points from 36 games, good for third place in the league, and they have gained 46 points at Elland Road this year.
Byram praised Leeds supporters for their outstanding support during home games, saying that they are the reason Leeds hasn’t lost at Elland Road yet.
He said that all of the Whites’ players like playing in front of the Leeds supporters and that the fact that the team is undefeated proves that opponents are afraid to play at Elland Road.
Byram said to Leeds United’s official media, “I saw a stat that we are the only team in the country that are still unbeaten at home, so it goes to show how big the fans are; obviously, the travelling fans are [as well].”
“However, I believe opponents are afraid to play against us at Elland Road because I know the boys enjoy playing there.
Fantastic stadium, fantastic atmosphere, and I firmly believe it improves our form.
Next weekend, Leeds will return to play at Elland Road when they host Millwall, led by Neil Harris, in a Championship match.
