Chris Danjuma, the head coach of the Falconets, is upbeat ahead of his team’s opening game at the 13th African Games against Morocco.

On Friday (today), Danjuma’s team will take on the North Africans at the Cape Coast Stadium to start their title defense.

The emphasized how crucial it was for his team to get off to a strong start in the tournament.

“We want a good justification by coming here and exciting ourselves and knowing that we are able to match every other team that has qualified for the World Cup,” he said at a news conference. “Thank God we have qualified for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Colombia 2024.”

The strategist also said that he expects a lot from his team in the women’s football competition.
