Jurgen Klopp announces a double injury boost before Liverpool’s Europa League match against Sparta Prague.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has delivered two pieces of positive news regarding his players ahead of their return to Europa League action.

Mohamed Salah’s return to the Reds is undoubtedly the main story; on Wednesday, he traveled to Czechia with the Anfield team.

The first leg of Liverpool’s Europa League last-16 matchup with Sparta Prague begins at 5:45 p.m. UK time.

Dominik Szoboszlai has returned to the team along with Salah, and Klopp appeared unconcerned about the possibility of the Hungary international playing on Thursday, possibly even starting.

Due to a hamstring injury, the 22-year-old has missed several games; however, he made a comeback on Saturday during the Premier League’s dramatic victory over Nottingham Forest.

During Liverpool’s pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Klopp was questioned on Szoboszlai’s match readiness for Thursday after the midfield player came off the bench.

Although the Reds manager remained silent regarding whether Salah or Szoboszlai would start, he is undoubtedly happy with their availability.

The Liverpool manager told the Reds media team, “It’s good that he’s back.” He enjoys playing football a lot. For him, being hurt is extremely difficult.

As is sometimes the case with muscle injuries, he was just unable to train as intended; it wasn’t a daily or chronically painful ailment.

Because of this, we had to exercise caution during Dom’s rehabilitation. Although he could have trained fully with the squad for two or three weeks, all of the medical advice told us that he needed to wait. That’s exactly what we did.

He returned a short while ago and is currently in the squad. We’ll see about the rest.

It’s encouraging to hear that Szoboszlai, a genuinely “unbelievable” player who had an amazing debut season at Anfield, appears to be totally fit and ready to go.

Having their main players back is vital because Liverpool is fighting on numerous fronts as they approach the business end of the season.
