Ellis, the boss of South Africa, is focused on the Super Falcons match.

Head coach Desiree Ellis of Banyana Banyana of South Africa has cautioned her team against complacency as they attempt to build up a matchup with Nigeria, their enduring foes.

In Abuja on Monday, the Super Falcons defeated Cameroon 1-0 to secure a spot in the championship round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers.

On Tuesday (today), the African champions will play Tanzania in the third-round match’s return leg.

Last Friday, Banyana Banyana won the first leg away from Tanzania, 3-0.

Thembi Kgatlana, Hildah Magaia, and Jermaine Seopesenwe scored goals for the defending African champions during the match.

Ellis is unwilling to take anything for granted, even if it is anticipated that South Africa will have an easy time in the rematch.

Back home, we have to finish the work. We don’t want to settle into a rut. Things might change in the match with the next goal, Ellis told CAFonline.
