Pedro Neto of Wolves is causing Liverpool a lot of stress.

Despite having a keen interest in the Portuguese star, Pedro Neto appears to be leaving Wolves this summer, and Liverpool has a serious worry about the winger.

The 23-year-old is having another fantastic season and has been terrorizing Premier League defenses for years. Throughout 22 appearances in all competitions, Neto has scored three goals and assisted on another eleven, drawing interest from numerous elite teams.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool and Arsenal have been interested in the Wolves star for a while. The Reds are considering using the Portuguese player as a possible Mohamed Salah substitute.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Saudi Arabian clubs are vying for the signature of the Egyptian superstar. With one year left on his current contract, the Merseyside club may consider selling the 31-year-old should a substantial bid come in.

However, Liverpool have serious concerns about Neto.

Neto is an excellent player, but despite this, the report claims that Liverpool’s recruitment team is worried about the Wolves star’s dismal injury history. Since the 2020–21 season began, the winger has missed 88 games.

The 23-year-old is prone to injuries, so interested parties will need to assume this risk.

Liverpool will have fierce competition from Arsenal if they try to sign Neto since Mikel Arteta wants to bolster their winger corps this summer. The 23-year-old Salah won’t start for either team if he stays at Anfield, but there is a greater possibility of playing time at the Emirates because the Reds currently have an embarrassing amount of wealth up front.

In order to stay inside Financial Fair Play regulations, Wolves will request a sum of money between £50 million and £60 million for the Portuguese international.
