Spurs Analyst: “100% behind” Tottenham’s multi-million dollar Daniel Levy master plan

Expert on Tottenham John Wenham said he is “100% behind” the club’s request to seek for authorization to conduct more non-football events annually.

Spurs are requesting permission to stage up to 30 significant non-football events annually at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to plans that have just surfaced.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was constructed in its place after the original White Hart Lane was demolished, and the team has since hosted a number of significant events, including boxing matches, concerts, and NFL games.

Wenham thinks the club will only gain from expanding those activities.

“I think this was something they probably always had in mind, and they just needed to have a few events first to test the waters, especially some big events like the five nights of Beyonce,” Wenham said in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News.

They had to consider both the advantages and disadvantages these activities might have for the neighborhood.

In all honesty, thirty events is a lot, and if this continues, Tottenham may end up holding a lot more non-football activities at the stadium than football ones.

But when Tottenham Hotspur Football Club doesn’t require the stadium, I wholeheartedly support the idea that it should be packed.

“Given all the controversy surrounding FFP right now, it puts us in a great place by generating more money for the club and the local economy.”

There will be many fans who will be upset that Tottenham keeps prioritizing success off the field over on it.

It is difficult to dispute, nonetheless, that the two are complementary. The team is more likely to spend in the transfer market if they bring in more money.

Wenham is right when he says that using the stadium when the football team isn’t using it isn’t a bad thing. Some may argue that they want the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to be renowned for its beautiful football and abundance of trophies.

Levy should be allowed to carry on as he pleases, provided as the non-football events don’t conflict with the football events and the club’s fixture schedule is given priority.
