Mohamed Salah replacement being considered

This summer, Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford could be acquired by Liverpool as a possible Mohamed Salah substitute. With just a year left on his Liverpool contract, Liverpool’s talisman is still being considered by Saudi Pro League teams after their approaches were turned down last summer.

Mbeumo was a brilliant player for Brentford before going missing in December owing to an ankle injury. In addition, his teammates have suffered without him, dropping nine of their 11 Premier League games.

Joshua Kimmich, a midfielder for Bayern Munich, is apparently eager to join the Premier League this summer, and Liverpool is just one of several teams that he admires. Kimmich reportedly felt dissatisfied at Bayern and grew irritated with manager Thomas Tuchel.

The German champions are hoping that Kimmich’s departure at the conclusion of the season will convince him to stay. However, according to HITC, Tottenham, Newcastle, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all keeping an eye on the situation. Nonetheless, given that Kimmich has experience working with Pep Guardiola, Manchester City is thought to be the most likely destination.

In 2025, Kimmich’s 29-year-old contract expires. While he is still at the top of his game, he is reportedly eager to test himself in the Premier League.

Salah’s contract expires in 2025, so the Reds will eventually need to get ready for life without him. Mbeumo would definitely fit the bill. Prior to his injury, he posed a serious threat for Brentford from the right side, scoring a lot of goals. The team has missed him recently, according to the results. However, Liverpool will have fierce competition if Brentford is relegated.
